All about me

First of all, I want you to get to know a little bit more about me, so let's get to it.

You already know what I study, and also in which university, but what are my hobbies, favourite animal or colour, what about my family?

Well, I love doing sports. I've been playing tennis and skiing since I was 3 years old, and I've been playing basketball in the same team since I was 8.

I got into it because my best friend played there, and I decided to join her team. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.

Basketball has given me so many things in my life, all of them good. Starting with the opportunity to meet wonderful people, to play sports while having fun and to grow personally.

As for skiing, it just makes me happy. I only get the chance to go about 3 times a year, so when I go I enjoy it twice as much. I always go with my friends or family, which makes it even better. It's a complicated but very funny sport.

I know I am very lucky and I am very grateful to my parents for teaching me and allowing me to do it.

Besides, I have been playing tennis all my life. It has always been more of a ‘secondary’ sport for me, as I have dedicated less time to it. Still, I have competed, won, lost and as always learned a lot.

I trained with my father, who is the one who taught me everything, so I was very happy to play, because it meant spending even more time with him.

On top of all this, I love music and concerts. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 years old. I know I've said it several times, but this does make me very happy. Along with tennis, it's my way of forgetting my problems and releasing my stress.

I think right now it's one of the things I miss the most. Something as simple as being at home, with my family, playing them a song on the piano.

As for my favourite colour or animal, I am very basic! My favourite colour is blue, and the animal I've always said was the dolphin, but I'm not really sure. I don't like animals at all; the few that I like scare me, and the others just disgust me, scare me or I don't like them at all. It sounds weird, I know, but I've never been much into nature, animals and that sort of thing hahahaha.

My family consists of my parents (María Teresa or Mayte and José Luis or Quitos), my brother and my sister. As you can imagine, I´m the youngest of the three. Guillermo is now 25, Sofia 23 and I will be 21 on the 1st of November.

I love them very much and I miss them a lot. We make lots of plans together because we get on so well with each other. Sofia is coming to visit me in November and I'm really looking forward to it :)

I'm a person who likes spending time with my family and I think it's because there have always been so many of us on both sides that I'm used to there being hundreds of us everywhere.
