Comparing Educational Systems

Good evening everybody!

I can finally tell you about my remaining subject; Comparing Educational Systems.

I´ve been waiting until today to tell you what we have been learning and doing in this subject, because this morning we had the presentation of what we´ve been working on.

At the beginning of the semester, we made two groups with other international students (I was with a Spanish student and two students from Malta), to work on the Belgian education system and make a comparison with the Spanish and Maltese ones.

The main idea was to focus on a specific innovative aspect. In my case it was multilingualism and inclusion. During the whole course, we have received theoretical lessons about the education system in Flanders and we have been working little by little on our project, with the help of the teacher.

It´s been a lot of fun to work with my classmates and it has been very interesting to see all the differences between the different countries. Moreover, I found it very interesting everything we learned about the other countries, but also about my own country!

Finally, this morning we had the presentation, and I think it turned out great! I´m very happy with all the work we have done together, really.
